Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I notify if I want to build an addition to my house, replace my roof, or build a garage or shed on my property?
First, you need to review the Covenants, and the Rules & Regulations to determine what the requirements or allowances are. Then review the Home Repairs/Improvement page for additional information and proper forms.  Once you have details in order, you would submit a request to the Architectural Control Committee at the link found at Contact Us.

Who do I talk to if I see a possible covenants violation in the neighborhood?
Submit a covenants concern online at the Contact Us  link.

I have a great idea for this website. Who do I contact?
Contact the website manager by clicking on Contact Us link.

I want to paint my house a new color. Do I need to get approval first?
If you want to change the existing exterior paint color, you must submit the color scheme to the Architectural Control Committee for approval prior to commencing work.  Go to the Home Repair/Improvements page for the proper forms, and submit by way of the Contact Us link.

My neighbor's dog keeps barking. What can I do?
We recommend that you talk diplomatically with your neighbor. You may find that a friendly approach can help you both come to a resolution of the problem.  For information from King County on this topic, refer to the Community Interest page.

I just saw a guy break into my neighbor's house. What do I do?
Call 9-1-1. Report any criminal activity first to the local law enforcement. Then call your Block Watch captain or coordinator, so that an alert can be issued throughout the neighborhood.

I think someone stole something from my car or garage or shed. Should I call the police?
Yes. Call 9-1-1. Report any criminal activity first to the local law enforcement. Then call your Block Watch captain or coordinator, so that an alert can be issued throughout the neighborhood. Even if there's little hope of recovering stolen items, it helps the police to have a record of incidents in the neighborhood. If there are a large number of incidents, the police may patrol the neighborhood more often.

When is the next general homeowners meeting?
Check the 2026 Calendar for information. Also watch for the Spring or Fall Newsletter for details. If you still need assistance, contact any member of the Board of Directors for information on upcoming meetings and events.
